My name is Ray Joseph, your next seat 4 Lauderdale Lakes City Commissioner! 

As a small business owner and healthcare worker, I have a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of our community. I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure that our city is a place where everyone can thrive.

As your Commissioner, I will focus on five key areas to improve our city: protecting and supporting local businesses, safeguarding the well-being of our seniors and youth, reducing taxes, implementing beautification projects, and updating our parks. Additionally, I will collaborate with state lawmakers to reduce homeowner association insurance rates. I am eager to bring my expertise and enthusiasm to the role and make a positive impact on our community. Together, let’s build a brighter future for Lauderdale Lakes!

I will advocate for financial support to local entrepreneurs, fostering innovation and job creation.

I will support prioritizing hiring Lauderdale Lakes residents, reducing unemployment and stimulating local economic growth.

I will collaborate with state lawmakers to ease burdens on condo owners, reducing condo and HOA fees, and enhancing quality of life.

Accountability at Florida Medical Hospital

I will ensure the highest standards of medical care, ethics, and customer service at Florida Medical Hospital, or explore alternative hospital operators.

I will fight for more robust programs for Young Residents.

Revamped City Parks: Create destination parks with splash pads, pavilions, and free WiFi, enhancing recreational spaces.

Elderly Care Program: Provide food, care, and support to seniors on a weekly basis through state, and federal funding.

Canal Cleaning Initiative: Systematically clean canals and drainage systems, ensuring a healthy environment.

Restaurant Attraction and Code Enforcement:

Champion an initiative to attract sit-down restaurants and addressing code enforcement issues plaguing Lauderdale Lakes Plazas

Property Tax Reduction: Explore innovative ways to cut property taxes while replacing lost revenue through state, and federal grants, and smart budgeting.

Home Renovation/Rehabilitation Programs: Assist homeowners on a tight budget, by providing home repair grants enabling them to enjoy their homes.

I will champion prioritizing Public Safety to ensure a secure and safe community for all residents.

Empower Lakes Program:

I will champion an initiative to offer free high school diploma classes to residents, addressing the 67% of residents without a high school diploma.
